Concept green cars
Toyota Hybrid-X
A demonstration of a radical hybrid family car. The idea is to provide comfortable travel, with lots of space and huge glass areas. From above, the glass roof has two thin transverse metal bars, which is where the name comes from - with a bit of imagination, you can see an X shape. To be honest, the body is conceptually not that different from, say, a Ford S-Max.
Why is it important?
In itself, it is not very. However, Toyota says that the style of the Hybrid-X will influence future production models.
Production likelihood 3/10: It will not go into production as such, but one could easily imagine a hybrid MPV developed for environmentally-aware families.
