Combating mental illness

As many as one in four members of the population will experience some kind of mental illness. With this being the case, a campaign has been launched called The Time to Change, in order to boost public awareness of these issues, as well as crusading to end the stigma and discrimination attached to mental health problems.

- The Time to Change campaign

Many great figures in our National history including Winston Churchill, Charles Darwin and Florence Nightingale all suffered from a mental illness.

More people are now speaking up about their mental health problems and helping to kill the taboo, including some very famous faces.
