Here in the UK nearly 1900 babies are born every single day! Many women approach their pregnancy and labour with a mixture of excitement, trepidation and fear, and we’ve all heard our share of horror stories. So whilst every woman’s experience of birth is going to be completely different, there is one absolute certainty – giving birth isn’t anything like they show on television.

Whilst we know that we can’t prepare you, we thought we’d share some little known facts that might just help you through the big event.
